Meet some of our sisters!
Sister of the month
Jordan is this month's sister of the month! Along with being our T-Shirt Chair, Jordan also is a part of the social committee for SIU's architecture fraternity, Alpha Rho Chi. "I love DPHIE's support system. There are so many women in our sorority and not everyone knows one another super well. But when it comes down to it, whether we're close or not, I have an entire sorority of supportive women to lean on when I need it most.
Lilly was the 4th president of our chapter. Outside of the sorority, Lilly is the co-head of hospital relations for SIU Dance Marathon and helped to raise over $20,000 this year for the kids! Lilly also is a Research Assistant in the Anxiety, Behavior, and Cognition lab on campus and volunteers once a week at St. Joseph's Hospital! Lilly also will be studying abroad next fall in Finland! "DPHIE helps keep me motivated to be my best self. I am part of something that is bigger than myself, and I want to represent my organization well!"
Courtney was the first president of our chapter after catering. Now, she is a newscaster for Channel 23 news in Rockford. "I definitely miss having an excuse to hang out with so many amazing people. But since I gained so many sisters who became my friends, I still feel like I have a team of women standing behind me and my goals"
Erica has held multiple positions in DPHIE such as sisterhood chair, special events chair, and last year's Vice President of Programming! Outside of the sorority, Erica has worked at New Student Programs for almost four years, has been the Farmhouse Fraternity Sweetheart for two years, and is the President of Order of Omega. "My sisters in DPHIE have helped me become a stronger leader, and I wouldn't have accomplished my goals without them!"
Mikayla is currently one of our advisors. "After graduation, I've had the privilege of working with the chapter as an advisor. It definitely gives you a different perspective on sisterhood. I am so proud of each and every one of my sister's for working to achieve their dreams, big or small."
